January 21, 2021: President Joe Biden announced that the United States would seek a five-year extension on the New START treaty without additional provisions. On January 22, 2021, spokesman for the Kremlin, Dimitri Peskov, told reporters that Russia welcomed an extension to New START. On 4 February, the United States and Russia formally extended New START.

The treaty will remain in effect until 5 February 2026. The Treaty does not place any constraints on the testing, development or deployment of current of planned U.S. missile defense programs or U.S. long-range conventional strike capabilities. The treaty does allows for satellite and remote monitoring, as well as 18 on-site inspections per year to verify limits. A study released Jan. 15 2020 by the Aerospace Corporation’s Center for Space Policy and Strategy notes that abandoning the New START Treaty could not only reignite a nuclear arms race but also destabilize outer space as it became overly militarised.

Essentially, the treaty: caps each country at 1,550 deployed long-range nuclear warheads restricts each side to 700 deployed long-range nuclear delivery vehicles limits each country to 800 deployed and nondeployed launchers and delivery vehicles.

New START is the final linchpin of U.S.-Russian nuclear arms control. If the treaty isn’t extended, Washington’s and Moscow’s nuclear arsenals will be wholly unconstrained for the first time in decades. The treaty expired as of February 2021. On 27 January, the Russian State Duma voted to ratify the extension.^[91] On 3 February, five days after President Putin signed this legislation, Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that the U.S. had formally agreed to extend the treaty for five years, until 2026

The giant spacecraft is marketed as being designed to carry NASA astronauts to the moon/mars but it equally can be used for rapid deployment of troops from continent to continent in a very short time frame. Cargo load is 100 tonnes (220,000 lb) Each spacecraft can carry one hundred people, with “private cabins, large communal areas, centralized storage, solar storm shelters, and a viewing gallery”, or more if your destination is only half way access the world and not halfway across the ‘galaxy’ as it were.

Future airlift it is the goal of the military will one day be carried out by vessels akin SpaceX prototype rocket SN9 with it cargo load of 100 tonnes (220,000 lb).

February 2nd 2021: China launches a trio of reconnaissance satellites from Gobi Desert The rocket sent three Yaogan 31 satellites into orbits of about 680 miles (1,100 kilometers) in altitude and inclined by 63 degrees. This means the satellites pass over the Earth as far north as Southern Alaska, in the Artic Circle and as far south as the King George Islands, just north of the Antarctic Peninsula by the South Pole. The satellites will be used for electromagnetic environment surveys and other related technology tests, according to state media Xinhua. Spaceflight Now notes however that Yaogan series satellites are understood by Western analysts to be military reconnaissance satellites. The satellites’ orbit makes it likely that the trio would be useful for maritime surveillance. This was the second batch of Yaogan 31 satellites China has launched; the first trio of Yaogan 31 satellites launched in April 2018 into similar orbits. Having more satellites orbiting the same route simultaneously means China can shorten the time between visits over a particular area and expand coverage time.

February 10 2021: Rocket Lab, announced details of its next mission which will lift-off from its Mahia Peninsula launch site in March. The mission include the US military agency, Space and Missile Defence Command (SMDC). The SMDC leads the US Army’s space and missile defence efforts, and develops laser and hypersonic weapons.

Rocket Lab’s press release for the mission describes the SMDC’s Gunsmoke-J payload as “an experimental” satellite that will “test technologies that support development of new capabilities for the US Army.” Those “capabilities” appear to include improving US military targeting capabilities. The US Army is exploring various ways to improve how it uses small satellites to collect and deliver data from space to target weapons systems on the battlefield. US government documents indicate that the Gunsmoke-J is aimed at improving the information collection side of that process. 

“Gunsmoke-J uses emerging advanced electronics to allow the use of dedicated intelligence assets to provide tactically actionable targeting data to warfighters on a responsive and persistent timeline,” a 2019 US Department of Defense budget document says. “This significantly improved reaction times and provided greatly enhanced targeting information for warfighters.”

While the fundamental processes forming the ionosphere are generally known, it is a very complex system and there are many details yet to be understood,” said Pedersen. The ionosphere, like the surface of the ocean or a lake, has many waves and ripples propagating across it, which create changes in time and space, he explained. “The better we understand these processes, the better we can understand how they affect systems.”

March 15 2021: South African Air Force officer and Colonel Desmond Rama Baker Lyer of the South African Airforce die when their aircraft crashed and burst into flames while landing at the base. The single-engine Patchen Explorer reconnaissance aircraft was reportedly on final approach on the routine flight when it crashed short of the runway. Baker’s air force career spanned over four decades including time as the SAAF’s Chief Test Pilot, air attaché in London, air base commander, and a member of its aerobatic display team. After leaving the SAAF, Barker joined theCouncil for Scientific and Industrial Research as the Manager of Aeronautics Research until March 2017. Barker was not just an expert in aeronautics but also an expert in electronic warfare. Baker writes of the development and rapid evolution of electromagnetic based warfare in one of his last reports. March 23 2021: Rocket Lab successfully launched its “They Go Up So Fast” mission, including two military satellites. It was the nineteenth lift-off for the Kiwi-American company’s Electron rocket, and its second of 2021 – and take its total tally of satellites launched beyond 100.

One is an “M2” satellite developed by the University of New South Wales, Canberra, for the Royal Australian Air Force. It will sync with the “M1” launched by Rocket Lab in 2018, and be “primarily be used for maritime surveillance, quantum computing, advanced AI, and laser communications” according to a manifest summary promoted by Rocket Lab. The other is the “Gunsmoke-J” satellite being launched for the US Army’s Space and Missile Defence Command (SMDC). Gunsmoke-J satellite can be used to target nuclear weapons as well as conventional weapons systems.

April 5th 2021: New Zealand’s first official space mission announces ‘mission control’ New Zealand’s first government funded space mission opened at Auckland University’s Te Pūnaha Ātea-Auckland Space Institute announced as the permanent host of the New Zealand based mission control centre for a global methane tracking satellite. Mission Operations Control Centre (MOCC) for the mission will be managed by Rocket Lab. Once it is running smoothly, it will be transferred to Te Pūnaha Ātea-Auckland Space Institute as the host. In 2019, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) signed a partnership agreement with United States-based environmental organisation, the Environmental Defence Fund (EDF) and its subsidiary, MethaneSAT LLC to enable New Zealand to participate in the mission. MethaneSAT is a state-of-the-art satellite designed to detect global methane emissions with unprecedented accuracy. The MethaneSAT satellite is unique because it can measure over a large area and focus on specific targets. In November 2019, the government announced that it will collaborate with the Environmental Defense Fund on the 26 million dollar MethanSAT mission.

April 8 2021: UAF awarded $9.3M grant to expand research at HAARP. The U.S. military built HAARP in the 1990s for $290 million to conduct ionospheric research related to communications, navigation, surveillance and more. But in 2015 the Air Force turned HAARP over to the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The HAARP station is the most powerful of three ionospheric research facilities on the planet. It uses, since 1998, hundreds of high frequency radio transmitters and antennas to probe the ionosphere, the layer of earth’s atmosphere that extends 50 to 600 miles above the surface for scientific experiments involving the aurora as the solar storm cycle peaks. HAARP has being active in New Zealand since the 2004 at Bridling Flats and Awarua in the South Island.

May 21 2021 Melbourne residents have been left confused after a “bizarre” line of lights hovered over the city early in the morning. “Multiple people reported bright lights over Melbourne from 5am on Tuesday and some said they were shining for up to 20 minutes while moving over”. But the mystery appeared to have been solved by mid-morning and the lights are believed to be thousands of Starlink satellites.

“Some conspiracy theorists believe there’s a link between the worldwide 5G rollout and a mysterious military facility that has been officially closed since 2014 There are suspicions among some members of the anti-5G movement that the ultrafast satellite network may be connected to a mysterious military facility that can control the weather The High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) is a transmitter facility used to study the properties and behaviour of the ionosphere, located in Alaska. There’s renewed interest in HAARP because of the mounting tensions between Iran and the US, and some say the programme is not only active, but is being strengthened by the rollout of 5G”.

HAARP operates within the ionosphere, the layer of our atmosphere that lies 75 – 1000km above the surface of the Earth. It’s also where 5G satellites roam in increasing numbers, as SpaceX plans to launch 1,400 more by the end of 2020 as part of its Starlink fleet. The US Air Force 2025, the 3,300 page report published in 2008 that identified future challenges for the US military, contained this intriguing paragraph:

‘A Spacebased High-Energy Laser System is seen as a multimegawatt chemical laser that can zap ground, air, or space targets. At lower power settings, it could disable enemy optics, perform passive sensing missions, actively illuminate a target with a laser, or even modify the weather. Between fifteen and twenty such satellites could provide global coverage”.

During the AC summit in Iceland this spring, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stressed that Russia’s term will be about the people in the Arctic, in particular indigenous people who have become priority under the UN’s Sustainability Development Goals.

Scientists at Yale discover permafrost buried beneath the Arctic Ocean holds 60 billion tons of methane and 560 billion tons of organic carbon — making it a major source of greenhouse gases not currently included in climate projections that could have a significant impact on climate change in the longer-term outcomes. Funny how the folks hacking us had hundreds of companies registered in NZ going back to 2003 and had even sparked a bank warning which no one acted on. Until after the arrest of Cameron Ortis a Canadian spy found to be leaking document to Russian organised crime. Shortly after investigators found, following “an internal investigation”, 170 million of their money was found held in NZ banks.

Funny how the firm at the centre of billion of dollars in money laundering, which Canadian spy turned convicted traitor’ Cameron Ortis was put in charge of ‘investigating’. that was laundered through NZ and Vanuatu by Renaissance Moscow, was caught using Russia “FSB” hackers. Renaissance is the firm is owned by Stephen Jennings the man who backed John Key run for PM in 2008 and now heads the NZ Business Round table (renamed NZI). When news of the Russian NZ money laundering first broke, after a Russian aircraft leased to NZ was found with a cargo of North Korean arms, Key promised to write a report buy promptly did nothing. Which is pretty much what he did when NZ role in the Panama and Paradise Papers was also revealed.

Funny how no one remembers how the head of the SFO Chas Sturt book Dirty Collars talks of the Russian aircraft based in NZ, which I documented in my two books, visited NZ regularly and had major links to Russian arms dealers. Sturt said of one of the traffickers a Russian Israeli who ran Metro Cargo (now called Pacific Express) after he fled NZ, having embezzled 12 million, he knew he was backed by the CIA. Kouzminov can be connected to another Russian Mikhail Khimich who was trying to buy up bottle water plant in Waikato whom the NZ Herald links to Russian mobster not only trying to bribe a police woman to access their computer. But the police woman got fired according to the Herald when she tried to blow the whistle. And what happened to Kouzminov and Khimich they got busted for drink driving and then they were both let off as a conviction might hinder their work with “intelligence agencies” is what the court said.

Funny how now one recalls the Alfa Bank Moscow Altimo Foundation was chaired by Michael Moore the former Christchurch MP, who became New Zealand Prime Minister before being appointed to top role in several international organisations including the WTO, UN as well as being New Zealand Ambassador to Washington in 2010, during the Obama administration and was appointed to the US based Trilateral commission who works with the Council of Foreign Relations in shaping and promoting official narrative through corporate media. While the Foundation is in turn partnered up with the Auckland University of Technology who like wise has being major recipient of Islamic Vision 2030 nations and the US military industrial complex. She however also denounced the role of social media “The Internet and social media platforms can be powerful tools for good, helping to connect and educate communities ,however, there is a downside to social media; for example, those campaigns spreading fake news detrimental to public health, such as the anti-vaccine propaganda in countries rich and poor,”.
