TPPA & AGENDA 2030 – The way people like Billy ‘Bullshitter’ Te K explain Agenda 2030 (who by the way helped pay Billy wages for six years and are still listed on his LinkedIn profile as “current” employees) is to shroud this policy, the huge impact it will have on all us, in a thick blanket of double coated tinfoil based gobbley-gook .

All of which can e summed up as utter fried bollocks, wrapped in a steaming bed of nonsensical far right ideology. This is served up with a large side order of utter deluded fantasy which is added just to be sure all sane folk, once they have heard this crap account of Agenda 2030, run from the room screaming. Or alternatively will result in listeners sticking hot metal forks deep into their ears just to make the madness of Billy Bullshitter just go away.

When all people need to do understand about Agenda 2030 can be explained very simply like this;

“With increasing private engagement in the implementation of the SDGs, governments tend to hand over ever more of their original functions and power to private companies, particularly in the social sector (i.e. health care, water and energy infrastructure, transportation, development cooperation). This trend thus further sup-ports the increasing number of privatisation of public goods and services. The democratic legitimisation as well as the budgetary rationale of Public Private Partnerships(PPPs) is being questioned by many, and supported by a growing body of research”. SDG Partnerships is the buzz word (virtually never named in the UN own public documents) you will find to identify Agenda 2030 public private collaborators.

HERE COME THE MEN IN GREY

In short if your a kiwi and you opposed the TPPA because a world run by greed junkies horrifies then you need to be aware of how policy like Agenda 2030 and their goal of ‘partnership’ has being hijacked. Kidnapped LITERALLY by the very same parties who are now telling you to trust them that A2030 is A-O-K. The same parties who are using the very same tactics they used to ensure the TPPA was rammed through for the goals of ever increasing and unsustainable profits.

Its a three part spin job;

One part is A2030 public face the glib green-washed marketing which is designed to appeal to the altruistic aspects of human nature.

One part is policy shape formed behind closed doors of banks and private finance corporations and again replicates how the TPPA came into our lives. Born in secrecy forged with zero public input.

And one part seeks to bamboozle you by boredom done via its deliberate use of dry overtly technical language that most of us will never bother to read (for fear of being put to sleep).

A three part recipe of deception that has left the majority of the public unaware of what the fine print of such goals applied end policy implications are. Especially when worked in combination with other lockstep local legislation and global treaties.

The TPPA is but one example of how the public theoretical front policy of Agenda 2030 is sabotaged from within by its public private partners.

For as Friends of the Earth Australia point out many of the same UN SDGS partners helping to hijack Agenda 2030 are the very same force you will find heading the lobby for the TPPA. Even when the goals of the two organisations are (if we take the public persona of A2030 at face value), contradictory.

In summary as one reader Grant Brookes noted on my own social media in response to my first draft of this article

But attempts by TPPA beneficiaries to muscle in on how these are to be achieved are very bad. In fact, they’re so bad because they’re not really about achieving the SDGs at all – just empowering the same old toxic corporations”.

Agenda 2030, rather than being Billy nutbar’s plot for global communism (overseen by Satanist andrecome snorting tranny’s alien vampires), plotting in secret, is simply garden variety mundane corporate sociopaths. Financial narcissist chasing the banal capitalist dream of never ending uber dollars are gas lighting the SDG. And they are doing it in a very public manner.

Blatant banal greed, as opposed to Bohemian Bolshevik Beelzebubs, are subverting the ecological goals of Agenda 2030 (so as to assist them in their goals of global monopolisation) in plain sight. There is very little secret about that fact at all. Its as open as it gets. But it is bureaucratically so boring few pay attention. Further proof that contrary to the Hollywood perception real evil does not walk around in hooves, horns and a pitch fork, snorting brimstone off a hookers tits. Rather it prefer grey suits, luke warm cappuccinos and air-conditioned offices.

This came just days after Australian and global leaders met at the United Nations, to announce the UN Sustainable Development Goals, a new plan to address the global challenges of climate change, environmental degradation, poor health, and poverty.ⁱ As politicians made public commitments at the UN, Australian Trade Representatives prepared to finalise a trade agreement that will make it legally difficult, even impossible, to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals as they have being sold to the public.

THE ENEMY WITHIN;

Friends of the Earth Australia out line a number of Agenda 2030 goals that contradict the TPPA and its backers who are also backers of Agenda 2030 goals.

An when I say goals I mean the public face of Agenda 2030 and its declared policies as presented to the public. As oppose to the actual end results of those policies after they are then reshape and executed by agencies such as the International Monetary Fund the World Bank.

The latter acting on behalf of the SDG principal bridging financiers to ensure the bits of the SDG that serve the corporate interest remain and the bits that don’t promptly get hoisted on the TPPA pinata.

Their strategy of two faced-ness is not even new. Its simply the classic neoliberal meat grinder tango – where what gets promised publicly – ultimately then gets water downed, comprised and then sold down the river. So the end result never matches the originally publicly declared objectives of A2030. Fresh Lamb goes in one end and mince mutton comes out the other end of the churner.

The profit obsessed corporations (as opposed to Billy’s Satanic Stalinist) are skill-fully working UN policy so they can make a safe bet based on having a bob each way. Companies such as Coca Cola, Monsanto, Dupont, Nestle, Shell, BP, use their role as UN SDG public private partners to conduct a marketing makeover for their capitalism brands. While simultaneously using the goals of A2030 as a means to push through privatisation for their own profit driven agendas. I say safely for they know, having stacked the deck in advance, that they are backed up in turn by international trade deals (which include the right to sue governments), which guarantees their right to plunder pilfer and pillage as usual.

Coke for example notes on it own press releases;

“At Coca-Cola, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are championed as an important framework for collective action and impact on the systemic challenges our world faces. Adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2015, the SDGs include 17 goals on everything from ending extreme poverty to gender equality, water quality, zero hunger, decent work and clean, affordable energy. Achieving the SDGs’ ambitions will require collaboration and contributions from all sectors – business, government and civil society. …Coca-Cola’s water stewardship portfolio supports SDG 6. In particular, the Replenish Africa Initiative (RAIN) aims to reach at least 6 million people throughout Africa with improved and sustainable access to safe water by 2020″.

Awe! After reading that how can you not want to buy the world a Coke?

Will namely because Coca cola however fail to mention that its contradictory interests as a lobbyist for the TPPA. Even though Coke’s own lobbying documents reveals their TPP support. Under lobbying activity, the company wrote: “Issues relating to support for the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership and the Environmental Goods Agreement.”

“That the Investor State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) mechanism included in the TPP investment chapter grants foreign investors access to a secret tribunal if they believe actions taken by a government will affect their future profits.^iv This provision is a ticking time-bomb for climate policy, because many government policies needed to address global warming are subject to suits brought before international investment tribunals” write Friends of the Earth. who note the TPPA also contradicts

Sustainable Development Target 12.4 By 2020, achieve the environmentally sound management of chemicals and all wastes throughout their life cycle, in accordance with agreed international frameworks, and significantly reduce their release to air, water and soil in order to minimize their adverse impacts on human health and the environment.

Sustainable Development Target 3.9 By 2030, substantially reduce the number of deaths and illnesses from hazardous chemicals and air, water and soil pollution and contamination. 

Now I come to think of it Billy never mentions these contradictions either. But to do so would be to out the real enemy. And that enemy is the profit seeking capitalists (as opposed to the imaginary nonexistent Soviet Succubus) that Billy and his koha buckets clearly identify with.
