Mate in korea, asthmatic, has been on about masks for particulate for years.. with the virus, he’s written some thoughtful commentary and pragmatic in addressing the narrative and panic buying.. he posted (attached screenshot) yesterday or day before. Did a browse around and the 3M 2097s cartridges that I use for work with silicone half masks are double price if you can find them in stock… No one is addressing eye protection….
Martin North at DFA (Aus) is talking probably six months of volatility as new numbers come to light and Aus falls in line with tightening up protocols..

Figuring this will be a problem for just obtaining PPE for work I managed to locate stock in NZ, mail order and restocked before next price jump.. maybe I’m buying in.. maybe things do become more prescriptive.
