Kegoura Craft Beer Festival

This is the 3rd year this popular event is being hosted which has attracted a loyal following from craft beer devotees local and international. It will be held at Emporium Brewing (57a Beach road, Kaikoura). A fantastic opportunity to visit the spectacular coastal village experience its hospitality and enjoy the best kai and beer the mainland has to offer. read more
Kegkoura offers a great day of live music, mind blowing local food, mini golf and other outdoor games. Plus some new and exciting beers from five different breweries. The visiting breweries this time around will be: Renaissance from Blenheim, Concept Brewing from Christchurch and Derelict Brewing from North Canterbury alongside locals Kaikoura brewing company and of course the hosts Emporium Brewing. They will also be pouring ciders from Peckhams and Local wines from Esses.

The festival, in its fifth year, brings Kiwi music to the South Island’s West Coast, to hang with the Westland Petrel (Tāiko) and promote conservationism. The festival includes a beach parade to welcome back the petrels to their Punakaiki nesting grounds, a jam night, native tree planting, a community market and kids activities on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 April.
