Perfect storm steroid that heightens aggression, Anti Depression that detaches you from reality ( & consequence), video games that normalize violence and online influencers then throw in shady social media feeds, run by sketchy information warfare specialists, used to recruit and indoctrinate the susceptible.
And I’m still trying to find out who “Niahm” was. An alleged Dunedin psychologist who attended a rave at Canaan Downs with Brenton Tarrant where he boasted “I’m going to be famous” and generally made people feel easy with Niahm assuring others she would see Tarrant got help when they returned to Dunedin. These are the anecdotal reasons to believe he also consumed Ketamine on at least a semi regular basis. Which it turns out chemically press a lot of the same buttons as scopolamine (devils breath) that lower inhibitions and leaves one open to suggestive programming. Again, combine with steroids could trigger trouble.
Note not saying video games, or even drugs of any kind are themselves an issue per-se. Rather it’s the combined factors that I think researchers are overlooking. Each one in itself is a separate situation but combined they become a deadly tool.

While Bob Woodward in Veil likewise also paints a case of the 1982 Beirut suicide bomber being on narcotics. Muslim Hassassins cult pioneered the use of mental manipulation and narcotics as early as the 12 century using a combination of hash and Belladonna.
It’s cousin Devil Breath, which is high in scopolamine, was used by Noriega ( and studied carefully by US Army psychological warfare) to get victims to carry out horrific acts which when they sobered up were replayed and used for blackmail. At Waco in the book the Sources Challenge documents how the Russians offered an electronic mood destabilizer to help end the siege.
Officially never used but the FBI did “study carefully” the device before it was sent back to Moscow. If you were at the Wellington Protest you probably were used as a guinea pig for the same technology. It’s now known as an LRAD to induce anxiety, depression, fear and other base emotions. Which I note NZ media were fine with without any study being done on long-term neural damage of this tech. A human rights violation or class lawsuits begging to happen.
Chuck that tech at someone on a unhealthy constant diet of steroids, anti-d’s, Ketamine, first people shooter games – all with repetitive hypnotic sound track and a steady stream of online hate, anxiety inducing (heavily marketed energy drinks), and shadowy influencers that reinforced your own self inadequacy and the doctrine of anger hate and nihilism and you have the social engineered cherry mind bomb on the cocktail.
