Ben Vidgen: The relationship between Israel and Hamas is complicated.

For starters Hamas was co-founded by Shin Beth, Israel military intelligence to split the support of Palestinians during the first intifada. Their partner in grime Iranian financed mullahs.

Ever since the relationship between Netanyahu and Hamas has been symbiotic as both sides of Jewish (far right) Zionism Iran and Arab Qutar funded extremism work towards a common goal of destroying the dream of cohabitation between Arabs and Jews.

An idea first formed by Arab Palestinians and the Hanhagh during their joint struggle to remove England, post WW2 from controlling Palestine as hammered out in connection to the Balfour Declaration and later again promoted during the Oslo accord. (Added note Sheik Hussein Mohammed Ali Abu Yussef of Tuba was quoted in 1948 as saying, “Is it not written in the Koran that the ties of neighbors are as dear as those of relations? Last but not least let us not forget the victims of October 7th where Israelis dancing for peace.

You want to stop this war then start asking questions of your government (New Zealand) concerning the role we play in laundering money in such ventures as the Aberjhani laundromat (see also OCCRP The Azerbaijani Laundromat) where money for arms destine for the Israeli US trained far right in Ukraine/ money from Russian oil to Israel Turkey/ money from Turkish arms sales destine for Libya. Plus other conflicts involving ISIS related actors is used to buy the gold that help fund the Oct 7 attack. NZ banks and NZ foreign policy makers are drenched in blood.

Jetfield Networks was founded in 2009 in New Zealand and was incorporated in 2012 (during the Key years) in the Marshall Islands, months after AIA announced a $1.6 billion contract with Azerbaijan. The documents show that the payments to Jetfield began in June 2012 with a transfer of close to $30 million. In October, an additional $6 million was wired to Jetfield, followed by additional transfers in the months that followed. The Deutsche Bank reports describe two companies — Jetfield Networks and Larkstone Ltd. — as recipients of the $155 million in IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries) payments.

All Reported offshore in 2020 (but with barley a mention here) with no comment from the now morally outraged party linked peace movement. Pure hypocrisy.

Cobwebs is a private Israeli security firm linked in with Palantir (Peter Thiel- NZ resident and general supporter of Five Eyes big borther spyware) located next to the GCSB in Wellington, to spy on journalist and activist.

Cobwebs has to date been identified as disrupted democracy in over 26 nations and having infiltrated left and right-wing activist groups in all the main Five Eyes nations. One of its jobs being to sew social disharmony, within the host nations, by infiltrating the social media networks of extremist organization on both the left and right wing.

A tactic not new or original having been known as the “Strategy of Tension” after it was first pioneered by NATO in Italy during the 1970 and 1980s and was then exposed in Italy’s corruption trials of the early 1990’s.

The head of the SFO Charles Sturt in his own book admits Spitz was backed by “CIA Muscle” while he accused as being an Israeli asset by Victor Orteovsky in the 1995 book, The Other Side of Deception, in assisting the arming of the Muslim Brotherhood. In my own book I have more than dozen other aircraft, all part of the same network, which I obtained photographed documentation of their regular visit to NZ from 1991 to 2006 (and since 2021) all engaged in the Aberjhan ‘arms for butter for guns for oil’ network and the supply of arms to various insurgent movement in return for natural resources.

These are illicit network which the governments under both National and Labour have empowered as they let cash be repeatedly launder through New Zealand and Pacific tax haven banks for over thirty years starting with the Gang of Twenty in the 1980s followed by the Wine Box Papers in the 1990s and then the Panama and Paradise Papers in the 2000s. And in doing so they permitted the continued escalation and disharmony of wars (fueled so as to exploit natural resources and create debt) not just in Israel and Palestine but in the Balkans, far east and through our Africa. Crack down on this and the genocide committed not just in Palestine, but all the killing field of the world will be much harder to empower. So post-election* Labour and Green Apparatchiks are up in arms about Israel and its role in genocide, civil liberties abuse and state terrorism.

Welcome to the new normal where social activism is just an extension of party politics bed it the red or blue team.

Um the lefts concern on Israel (and its out-of-control military industrial complex) is all very well and good. However let’s not forget that it was under the Jacinda Adern government that New Zealand Police and the Department of Internal Affairs were found using Israeli firms to spy on Protesters in 2022 .

OIA documents show the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment has been using Cobwebs Technologies since 2019-20 to monitor all major platforms including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Twitter to detect threats and to covertly collect people’s personal data, which can include “political information”, “religious preference”, banking, health and family relationships data. However let’s not let the facts get in the way of a post-election campaign keen to distance itself from the fact that under Ardern term identity politics was used as red hearing as Labour continued to pandered to big business as despite it majority it failed to promote a society that in fact fitted with what labour says it stands for (as Labour did little to improve housing, health and combat poverty for lower socioeconomic voters).

In 2022 European Parliament investigated the use of Pegasus and similar spyware, following revelations about their own member states’ (namely NATO Five Eyes allies) spy agencies “abusing highly sophisticated spyware to surveil opposition figures, journalists, lawyers, and high-ranking state officials”.

RNZ inquiry’s list three dozen spyware companies, or products, covered in public reporting includes Cobwebs Technologies, and Cellebrite. To be fair the relationship between the Israeli rent a spooks and New Zealand also existed under a John Key (post government a shareholder in cyber security giant palo Alto who now have extensive New Zealand contracts) government with police using Cellebrite, dubbed by CNN as the FBI’s “go-to phone hacker”, deploying it against journalist Nicky Hager in 2014. RNZ docs showed it was used under Jacinda government following the mosque attacks to “monitoring social media properly” (Meanwhile the Israeli ties to the Christchurch Foundation and where the donation money was actually spent remain unanswered). Meanwhile Palantir, linked to Peter Thiel, a New Zealand resident continues to have close ties to Five Eyes whose New Zealand office is right next door the Wellington office of the GSCB digital spy agency.

Cobwebs has globally been found to monitor and infiltrate the protest movements of both the left and the right in 2020 in the United States Cobwebs helped the Department of Homeland Security monitor the online presences of Americans—including left wing protesters and journalists. 

Facebook maintains Cobweb has spied on more than 50,000 activist journalist and local politicians. Several commentators maintain that the monitoring extended to agitating and encouraging extremist behavior in both left- and right-wing circles, to interfering in local and general elections. It has spied on anti vaxes protest in Australia and Antifa Black Lives Matter protesters in the USA. Further reports confirming Cobweb Technology has been active in all the Five Eyes alliance nations during election periods. Cobwebs themselves have boasted they have disrupted elections in more than 26 nations. To bad the left felt no reason to point this out when Labour and the Greens where in power for as Thomas Paine one of the America’s founding fathers wrote “He that would make his own liberty secure must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself”.

LEFT OR RIGHT: BIPARTISAN BLOOD MONEY & HYPOCRISY

TEAM EMIRATES where arms bloody money Israel terrorism and bipartisan Five Eyes hypocrisy go hand in hand. “New Zealand remains aligned to its Five Eyes partners despite voting for a UN resolution for a humanitarian truce between Gaza and Israel,” caretaker Prime Minister (Ex Shell) Chris Hipkins says. In other words, Labour will continue to support NZ weapon sales to Israel and Terrorist sponsor states. All the while gas lighting voters they give a dam or admitting their regime just like National have actively empowered and enabled the laundering of money and arms sales (which even use the very Israeli Ukraine companies which ship Team Emirate yachts) which has led to Hamas (as sponsored by Qutar and the Emirates) terror attacks and the IDF brutal reprisal. Because at the end of the day Labour and National remain committed to the same corporate kleptocracy pushing war creating global debt for all. Debt shared by Israeli and Palestinians alike. Create the problem then be seen to solve the problem all the while denying their blood on your own hands. And that ladies and gentlemen really is the definition of gas light.

And a network which government under both Labour and National have played significant roles, as pawns of the Business Round Table. Or too institutes like the NZ Initiative, a private think tank, headed by Stephen Jennings, a former New Zealand Treasury official, who went on to run one of the largest banks in Russia, during which he and his banking buddies helped facilitate the rise of Vladmir Putin (supported by his now current enemies) and similar mass destabilisation of African states in the grip of wars and debt engineered by free market speculators trading weapons and creating war in return for control of resources and creation of mass debt.
