The Dunedin Museum of Natural History has been open for over seven years now and one of the first loans we received was this amazingly accurate human skull carved out of apricot wood by Oturehua based artist – Martin Sullivan.
Martin actually made this piece back in the mid 19080’s and a future in the art world beckoned until he became disillusioned with the art business.
The piece is carved from wood from an apricot tree which used to grow in the Cromwell Gorge until the dam flooded it so it’s not just a carved skull but a political statement. Martin dropped in on Monday to take his skull back for an exhibition in the Oturehua Hall (starting this Thursday) but we dearly hope we can loan(or perhaps buy this amazing taonga) sometime in the near future. I have also assed some other piece of Martin’s amazing work to this post.

Deutsche Bank faced criticism and legal action for its financial dealings with Jeffrey Epstein, including allegations of insufficient monitoring of his transactions. The bank was fined $150 million by New York regulators for “significant compliance failures” related to Epstein and other cases. Sewing publicly stated that Epstein should never have been a client and that the bank had learned from the experience.
Investors also sued Deutsche Bank, claiming the bank made false and misleading statements about its compliance procedures.
Money Laundering Allegations: Deutsche Bank has been linked to a large-scale money laundering scandal through its Moscow operations with money transferred to Deutch’s bank NY. All the economic consequences of the English French Napoleonic Wars which in turn shaped so much of the colonial geopolitics that greed Latin America ( for a price) from Spain opened up Africa for exploitation and checked the Russian Ottoman Empire in Macedonia. It would ensure Australia New Zealand Canada colonies remained loyal obedient subjects of Westminster and London Banking who on request were always good at converting the Trev’s in to good keen cannon fodder. As two world wars and countless super powered fulled proxy wars proved from Cecil Rhodes Boer War to the lithium filled fiasco of Afghanistan and current Fubar demonstrate.
An order which led in turn to the events of WW1 a losing of Autocrat rule in Europe and the rise of industrialism, the implosion of socialism based revolution – replaced instead by the oil dependent Authoritarian USSR and the rise of modern centralised banks. And of automated industry climaxing in WW2.

And the other in this high stake poker games is a collection of nations led by ‘strong men’ who bow down to Bejing. Who will win that fight a conflict based on who has more gold bars in their cellar rather than bombers on the runway.
My bets on China but either way it’s going to be a digital version of Tolkien’s warning one ring to rule them all. One ring to bind them all. One ring to blind them all in darkness, in the land of Mordor where the shadows lie.
A dam has busted. On Flight Tracker you see one aircraft grow into an amarda of fueling aircraft, used to fuel Fighters jets bristling with high powered lethal ordnance. The dots on the screen stream out of the USA and head to European bases capable of reaching Iran or Moscow. The Nazguls are on our borders.
