The A-Z of NZ Politics in a post truth world, in the era of 4th Industrial Revolution (Aka NZ Today According to Trev), what defines and shapes New Zealand Politics.

100 SECONDS TO MIDNIGHT:  Probably the one thing we won’t talk about in the NZ elections but should. If you’re under 35 you probably missed the fun times where the USA and the USSR put on the duke box in Siberia and played extreme chicken with tactical thermonuclear weapons stockpiles. As they raced each other to ‘midnight’. Midnight being the point at which the Bulletin of Atomic Scientist Doomsday clock struck 12 and the world turned into one big nuclear slag pile. The closest point the clock came to midnight, after it 1947 inception, was 2 minutes to midnight during the Cuban missile crisis in 1962. In 2023 the clock was at 100 seconds to midnight its now at 90 seconds. And all of those relatively brand-new US military sites began popping up in NZ circa 2015 including Rocket Lab (which according to the government’s own advisers has breached our nuclear free legacy TWICE!). Putin’s a dick cool we agree but playing Russian roulette with a nuclear armed looney probably not to clever either.  Tik tock tik tok.

3 WATERS. Water a topic these days as toxic as the depleted uranium rounds being lobbed around the food basket of Europe. Another subject which politicians on both side of the Wasp Factory play loose and fast on.

In 2010 Former Minister and Act MP Rodney Hide (now a DJ on “FREEDOM” platform Reality Radio), said “flexibility in delivery of water services” was part of changes to the Local Government Act 2002.The Government now wants to extend Hide”s

15-year tenders on water-service contracts to 35 years and allow private companies to build, own and operate new water and wastewater treatment plans.

Fast forward 12 years. Now the ‘Freedom’ platform protest against the Labour Green’s 3 waters proposal. The latter being the amalgamation of water as government works with local government, corporate iwi and corporate water industry leaders. That Hide’s plan (which Green Labour voters protested against) on steroids. 3 Waters spin doctors the lie that is its goal is making “sure our water services system is in good condition to meet challenges like population growth, climate change and natural disasters”.  The law will also be changed to stop councils controlling the management of privately run water services. Under this plan ten new publicly-owned, privately managed Water Services Entities will run New Zealand’s drinking water, wastewater and stormwater services – currently operated by councils on behalf of communities”.

Government private partnership now means that critical infrastructure management contracts, with private firms will be extended for an unlimited period with a single minister approval and zero public input.

7 ELECTIONS: is a CONSPIRACY THEORY of the early 200068’s77 that the New Zealand Business Round Table (New Zealand Initiative) was working with AI and data base engineers to unroll a sophisticated algorithm tool to manipulate voters.7 Elections remains the stuff of folk lore and Rabbit holes right up there with Lady Di death in a tunnel and Elvis’s alien love children. However increasingly we are seeing the rise of firms like Cambridge Analytics (Bad Boys of Brexit’) being contracted by NZ First, to use AI to manipulate voters (New Hub 8/7/2020). While the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment were found in early 2023 to be contracting Cobwebs Technologies. Cobweb boast they have already rigged 26 elections using AI and sophisticated social engineering techniques, since 2019-20. Cobweb is not the only one spinning (Counter Spinning) such a webs of deceit. The Libertarian orientated NZPP second in command Michael Stace, a former American spook, (found to be wooing both the reactionary radical left and radical right) CV list him as an IT Social media warfare specialist.

IT Social warfare methods were used by QAnon promoter Jim Watkins who use thousands of fake profiles, AI generated chat bots, plus an army of both ex-pseudo intelligence and military types plus civilians, trained in intelligence collection and distribution to spread DISINFORMATION and to gas light genuine alternative media and capture and mimic grass roots politics. When Watkins is not spreading the word that ‘Trump will stop the pedos’ he can be found setting up domains promoting dark porn (i.e where not talking busty 30-year-old cheer leaders). Watkins is the Sound of Sleaze. The National party had to also admit to using artificial intelligence to generate fake people in their attack advertisements.

Meanwhile as part of a collaborative project between Victoria University of Wellington, technology company Touchtech and technology entrepreneur Nick Gerritsen (a former young Nat whose best friend is former corporate spin doctor James Shaw of the Green Party) created SAM in 2017. SAM is short for Semantic Analysis Machine. SAM, peddles as the first AI (Artificial Intelligence) politician. SAM is an extremely sophisticated analytical tool which has the stated goal of “learning about and representing the views of New Zealanders” That is it wants to be able to predict our behavior. For our own good of course. 

ACCOUNTABILITY: is essential to any system of fair government. If you have accountability any form ideology is far likely to succeed in the goal of achieving fair and representative government. Without it all systems, regardless of ideology (or wing types) will lack genuine sustainability and are doomed as sure Peter Dunne’s fashion look. 

ACT. Many in light of David Seymour making an utter ass of himself on Dancing with the Stars, may think this party stands for Another Clown Twerking. Founded by Roger Douglas  (a former student Marxist who then embraced the US School of Chicago Economics philosophies. ACT is built on Libertarian ideas and Neoliberalism. Put simply Act dig the idea of public private partnerships and the unregulated idea of State Capitalism also known as LENISM.

Douglas became Labour’8s finance minister under the 4th Labour government in 1987 and engineered the sell off NZ public assets and services to offshore interest, known as Rogernomics, before going on to become the director of the BNZ. In fact ACT is a party dedicated to Libertar6ianism which is now the third largest power block in the USA next to the Democrats and Republicans. Douglas worked out its easier to fool the bourgeoise than the peasants.

ADVANCE: The Advance New Zealand Party was a short-lived political party, some might say a dry run, in New Zealand from 2020 to 2021 which initially used the LIBATERIAN aligned CONSPIRACY THEORY Vinny Eastwood show*, who built his BRAND bagging the UN and Freemason. Where others might look at such institutions and see the CRONY CAPITALISM of THE OLD BOYS network Vinny INSISTED it was all the Illuminati. Its founders consisted of Billy Tekaha, who listed his current employee on LinkedIn as the UN and Michael Stace a former US cyber spook who previously worked for the Prime Minister Office in the 2000s (and before that Disney). Mace incidentally is also a Master Freemason who paid Vinny for airtime for Advance. Ooops.  

AI —Artificial intelligence (AI)  Like all tools it is neither good or bad. Its character and purpose is defined by the permutation of its written code. Basically, imagine if permutations are written by Voldemort or Dumbledore to estimate whether you end up with a WW3 causing Skynet or Kit (the friendly wise cracking crime busting black Trans Am of the TV series Knight Rider). Currently AI permutation is the domain of Social Media platforms, bureaucrats, the military industrial complex and …shudder …banks So draw your own conclusion which is the most likely outcome of this brave new normal.

ALGORITHIM  “The algorithm has primacy over media … over each of us, and it controls what we do’“. stated Harvard Law School democracy ethicist Tristan Harris states algorithmic regulation is supposed to be a system of governance where more exact data, collected from citizens via their smart devices and computers, is used to more efficiently organize human life as a collective. Instead thru absence of accountability and transparency it has become a blatant tool of Corporate Kleptocracy. As they say in the movie TEAM America “Bad I.N.T.E.L.L.G.E.N.C.E” 

ANARCHY: An anarchist is an advocate of anarchy whose exact definition is usually chaos. There are however three loose types of standard anarchist. The control freaks who wears all the cliche designer custom and ultra expensive feral attire and they vote. So not in fact an anarchist but a gas lighter. When this version say they’re anarchist actually they mean they consider anyone who does not agree with their view a FASCIST and “daddies paying for me to go to Ibiza first class if I pass my finals”. 

Type two: Does not vote and thinks voting BS. In the words of comedian George Carlin “if voting changed anything it would be illegal”.

Type three the crypto anarchist in fact does not want anarchy but are full blown sociopaths who really just want the right to peddle dark web pornos, traffic meth, while funding coups against democratic nations (preferably rich in bitcoin metals). Sometimes also known as LIBERTARIAN or ACT voters.  

AOTEAROA: Governor Grey first heard the term in 1845. While an Auckland’s War Memorial Museum displays a flag that was captured by colonial troops from King Taawhiao’s men in the Hunua Ranges in 1863, during the early phase of the Waikato War. The flag is emblazoned with the name Aotearoa. When Taawhiao founded his own bank, he called it Te Peeke o Aotearoa. In saying that it was pushed by Governor Grey to PR his racist ‘noble savage’ myth which was engineered in turn to facilitate a land grab by colonial kleptocrats.

The idea was that separate hapu all answered to a single hierarchy (what became known as Iwi) and the Crown need only deal with Iwi chiefs. Some Maori where according to Grey’s pitch more pakeha than others. More significantly (from a legal point) Aotearoa is absent from Treaty of Waitangi of 1840 and the gazetted declaration of nation hood of 1835 (which does recognises the power of hapu as well as Rangatira). So an official name change may potentially create significant legal consequences in terms of existing treaties accords and legislation domestically and internationall78.

ARDERN JACINDA:  Prime Minister Ardern graduated from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Communication Studies in Politics and Public Relations. A career otherwise known as spin doctoring.  

Post-university, she worked as an adviser in the office of then-Prime Minister Helen Clark. In 2005 she went to London and worked in the Government Cabinet Office of British Prime Minister Tony Blair as an Assistant Director for Better Regulation Executive in the Department for Business and Enterprise. B&Es primary job was to promote B&D in the form of UK PM Tony Blair’s version of the New Zealand ROGERNOMIC NEOLIBERAL reforms – 8 known as The Third way.  Basically, it promoted a corporate takeover of public asset. Ardern also sat on a review of Policing in England and Wales. The later over seen by OLDBOY Blair’s chief fixer and burier of dead bodies Sir Ronnie Flangan. The review was sparked by Operation Tiberius which an official internal Metropolitan Police investigation into OLDBOY driven corruption commissioned in October 2001 it was leaked to The Independent newspaper in 2014 post Ardern.

In 2007 she was elected President of the youth arm of the International Socialist Organistion. The Worldwide Socialist Website points out Arderns “pretty communist” status takes a hit in the context the ISO in fact was a CIA front program which sought to use ‘left wings’ organisations on campus to bring about regime changes in nations the USA considered rivals. At best she a state capital Leninist.

In 2008 At age 28 she entered Labour as an unelected MP its youngest member. Within 10 years Labour’s OLD BOYS would make her Labour’s chief sock puppet in commander. In 2023 PM minister Jacinda Ardern revealed her post parliament job. A new Harvard University post where she would specialise in technology governance. Aka online censorship. Her father is former senior police officer, OLDBOY and generous donor to the National Party. Her Uncle is Ian is senior Mormon (incidentally one of the biggest investors in AI and BIG PHARMA) and her sister Louise is a former BIG PHARMA LOBBYIST who now work in IT Security promoting AI governance. 

BANK PROFITS — After-tax profits of the 4 biggest Australian-owned banks in NZ – ANZ, ASB, Bank of NZ and Westpac – have risen to over $6 billion. That’s over $16m a day, $680,000 an hour8. Meanwhile no one wants to remove the GST off vegetable so ordinary people can afford eat too.

BIG PHARMA a collective term for the global pharmaceutical industry as a whole. Novart the most profitable pharma company in 2021, beating Pfizer and J&J, which recorded $22 billion and $21 billion, respectively. Pfizer, BioNTech and Moderna made pre-tax profits of US$34 billion in total; or US$93.5 million a day. And with that revenue Big Pharma is able to buy and sell government via its share lobby power. In NZ big pharma is secretive of how much it donates (unlike the US where it must publish donor amounts). Financial statements for the pharmaceutical lobby group Medicines NZ showed it spent $151,106 on Project Election 2017, the firm’s second largest expense of 2016. The group refused reveal what the cash was spent on.

BOOMERS vs MILLENIALS: REACTIONARY right wing Boomer bigots like to bleat on about the dumbing down of the social media addicted REACTIONARY “WOKE”MILLENIALS. All the while missing the point.8 Millennials did not write the present curriculum or invent social media platform. Boomers did that.

BLUE PILL VS RED PILL: The cute notion that mainstream left wing parties are at their core different from mainstream right-wing parties. People who actually believe this fair story need to be strapped into a chair and made to watch, with eyes taped wide open’ the documentary Someone Else Country which reviews the impact of the Chicago School of Economics on NZ Democracy under Labour Rogernomics and National’s similar “free market’ orientated Ruthonomics. 

BRANDS  political brands such as Ardern’s “Be Kind”, John Key “Rockstar Economy”, Trumps MAGA seek to create warm fuzzies towards a politician, political organisation, or nation. Branding helps the party or candidate to change or create a feeling of identity among voters with the party or its candidates. So as to create a trusting relationship between political elites and the “consumers”. It seeks to make people feel as1 opposed to doing really dangerous shit like thinking.

CABINET The average kiwi today can not name the majority of our current cabinet just it figureheads. Such is the power of the CARGO CULT OF POPU(BANA-LITY which focus soley on BRANDS & POPULIST leaders who have turned modern politics into whose the coolest kids on the playground.

CANCEL CULTURE The two-left wing, right wing, arms of Cancel Culture seek to be a BBQ Fork of intimidation where the public are the sausage66. Both collectively create an anti-culture blackhole which prevents actual non polarised public discussion. Cancel culture empowers the school yard bullies on both sides of the playground. Do yourself a favour and self-cancel today.

CARGO CULT OF PERSON(B)ANALITY the idea if you wish really hard with zero evidence good stuff will happen miraculously. For example, a Democrat or Republican president will free Julian Assange and not just sell more weapons globally.  The cult of personality, or the cult of the “boss”, its objective the creation of a BRAND. It seeks to create an idealised and heroic image of a leader by a government. Love em or hate em when you think the bucks stop with the pop clown of the day you just being conned by a smooth criminal.  Trump in fact was an excellent president. Well he was if we use the guide on Cargo Cult politics offered by satirist Douglas Adams, in the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, when evaluating the presidency of the fictional Zaphod Beeblebrox;

“The President in particular is very much a figurehead — he wields no real power whatsoever. He is apparently chosen by the government, but the qualities he is required to display are not those of leadership but those of finely judged outrage. For this reason, the President is always a controversial choice, always an infuriating but fascinating character. His job is not to wield power but to draw attention away from it. On those criteria Zaphod Beeblebrox is one of the most successful Presidents the Galaxy has ever had — he has already spent two of his ten presidential years in prison for fraud.”

CHECKS AND BALANCES — a system that allows each branch of a government to amend or veto acts of another branch so as to prevent any one branch from having too much power or zero ACCOUNTABILITY. While there has been much gnashing of the teeth from the REACTIONARY left and right on Co-Governance. Both parties again miss the point. Namely the Silence of the Lambs otherwise known as the government and the opposition joint refusal to address what Checks and Balance would exist in Co-Governance. Essential to ensure both arms of government were held ACCOUNTABLE to the people and not give parliament unbridle power.

To date both Labour and National have failed to publish their response to the 2013 panel into Constitutional Reform. This is despite having been requested to do so by the Union of Civil Liberties on three occasions. A joint breach of due process where the government is required by law to give a response.  

CASCADE EFFECT:  The key goal of MOCKTIVI$M: A cascade effect is an inevitable chain of events due to an act affecting first a system’s fringe then via dominoes effect the entire ecosystem. The idea, in politics, is to generate fake grassroots movements using well-funded platforms, (aka Mocktivi$m), that rorts election spending caps, engage in algorithmic manipulation and database marketing which can be used in a tight election to trigger a cascade that targets primarily swing voters – voters who traditionally don’t decide who to vote until the last two weeks of an election.

CIVICS: the study of government and civil liberties. Which much like the right to vote no confidence and chemistry in schools was deemed far too dangerous by the Boomer era Chicago School of Economics’ ZOMBIE ZAMPOLITS and was removed from curriculum and electoral education process. 

COLLECTIVISM; Power by the people for the people. Ideologies like SOCIALISM cease to be socialism when there no collective and no inner party CHECKS AND BALANCES or ACCOUNTABILITY & TRANSPARENCY andthere isonly a corporate funded politburo enforced by APPARATCHIKS AND ZOMBIE ZAMPOLITIS e.g. The Occidental funded Russia, China and National Socialism  (NAZI)

During the 1980s most of New Zealand political parties (encouraged by the NEW ZEALAND ININATATIVE tore up their charter’s so party policy would not be decided by the collective party members at AGM (as use to be the custom) and it would instead be made up instead by the inner party faithful – which in real terms means a bunch of spin doctors, lawyers (Oh so so so many lawyers) and Corporate apparatchiks. Most of whom went to the same private OLDBOY  schools together and are on a sabbatical to secure free air fares and corporate global world domination on their way up the sociopathic DAVOS style ladder of success.

‘COMMUNISM’ vs SOCIALISM (Marxism/Socialism/Stalinism/ Leninism State). Communism veeeery loosely is socialism without there being an actual collective but a politi-buro and a big brother. Marxism spells this out but never explained who these mythical Father Christmas Easter Bunny like figures of benevolence will be. Lenin advanced on Marx’s wooly socialist ideas of who would lead of the peoples collective (one would have thought the name ‘people’ would have tipped them off) by crossing the ts and i. Lenin coined the term State Capitalism to define the central comittee as being led by campus intellectuals,  bankers and industrialists – Which incidentally is the very same definition this author recieved for ‘what is globalism’ is when I worked as researcher for WestPac Sydney.  We all got a nice sausage roll and a glossy brochure  entitled “Globalism for Bankers”. Complete with a nice picture of Lenin’s statue being pulled down in Moscow. Oh the irony. 

And Stalinism? Will that Communism where you simply shoot anyone who disagreed with you. In that regard it mirrors Hitler’s right-wing form of fascism.

CLIMATE CHANGE: Regardless of cause it is happening. The question now remains what the response will be?

So far its taxes. Taxes that punish those who did not make the poop while the corporates who did can fly off to climate conferences in lear jet and hang out with NAZIS, despots and Kleptocrats. Those who got rich mostly by poisoning the world with nukes, fast food, pesticide, and shitty computing software monopolies. Some might say that is akin to putting the junkies in charge of the medicine cabinet. And a pretty rubbish form of genuine environmentalism.

CO-GOVERNANCE HE PUA PUA Jack Vowles, Professor of Māori Studies Victoria, thinks that part of the reason reactionary left wing  and right wing parties “can waltz around using the expression Co Governance to spin and counter spin with ease is because “it isn’t easy to understand in the first place”.

And thus can be made to fit what you want your chosen echo-chamber to believe it means. Vowles notes “knee jerk reactionarism on partisan grounds are not conducive to informed public debate”. Ahmen.

Vowles is obviously a radical centrist (or at the very less does not live under the illusion life is black and white). He notes “Any criticism of He Puapua runs the risk of being framed alt right. However Vowles notes a third argument that comes from a position that is sympathetic to Māori aspirations for greater equality and fairness both in treatment and outcomes (as implicit in article 3 of the Ti Tiriti) as well as for greater control of their own affairs (under article 2, the Rangitiratanga principle)”. He says of this view “It acknowledges that more could and should be done under Article 2 and it would defend almost all of the efforts to realise that the ideas behind its principles so far. However, the authors of He Puapua claim that Te Tiriti demands extension of the authority of rangatiratanga deep into the heart of kawanatanga. In the third way interpretation, it is that very extension that would be a breach of Te Tiriti”. For as Vowles continues “The New Zealand Government is no longer an autocracy of privileged elites under which voting rights were limited to the propertied”.

Vowles note on the joint RED PILL BLUE PILL con-job that Labour and National Government failure to publicly respond to the 2013 constitutional panel’s recommendations. “If the government is serious about He Puapua, it will explain its own position more fully, and if it wishes to pursue that agenda, or significant parts of it, it should set up the framework for a further constitutional debate to which all New Zealanders can contribute. Otherwise, reinforced by other developments within government, and driven by conservative opinion leaders, more and more people will come to suspect that radical change is being covertly pursued behind the scenes in the absence of public consultation. Such concerns will not be good for the current government, or for confidence in politicians and in the political process in general. In short Vowles accuse both Labour and National of using Co Governance to drive polarisation that destabilises society for the worse”. Again Ahmen.

COMMON LAW is the bed rock upon which the constitutional power WESTMINSTER palace (which should never be confused with, yet always is with Buckingham Palace – the later being the home of inbreed corgis and pedophile loving parasites) is built upon. The paradox of Common Law is that while it forms the constitutional back bone of most all Commonwealth countries, few including an increasingly dumbed down court system, have the education to really understand it. Common Law is not a get out of jail card. It must be used in accordance not just with (human) rights but our obligations to follow citizens. That means in plain speak dont  be a dick. In the twenty years I have covered this issue I have only met a handful of folk who genuinely know their common law Kung Fu. And maybe I know two people who have successfully used it without punching themselves in the face. In saying that both Canadian Inuit and Maori have used common-law with a degree of success in slowing down (if not stopping,) TPPA orientated international agreements that breach existing customary rights and common law legislation. So not utterly with out fangs for the truely learned.

CONMAN’s LAW Is the popular bastardisation and misrepresentation of Common Law usually pushed by Libertarian oriented groups, illiterate YOUTUBERS. Curiously those who cite their Common Law Due Authority usually says zip about the existing and older Bill of Rights 1688 which in fact draw from WESTMINSTER statues. West minster unlike UN NY definition draw from NY state law based on  commerce (or the law of the sea) and Dutch Customary law, dating back to to when NY was colonised by the perhaps the world first mega corporation the NY Dutch East Indies tea company. Where as 1688 recognised the citizens fixed or inalienable rights.

Common signs your dealing with a conman sovereign is they will talk a lot about the UN controlled New World Order (but are probably Freemason who secretly yearn to be recruited by the “Illuminati” which unfortunately for them died out in the 1700s). COVID: However you want to spin it or counterspin it. COVID provided opportunity out of crisis. From obscene profits to the government using it to blame woefully underfunded and long neglected health systems ripe with graft and tender abuse. Covid has been the sole story of the decade. In political media terms this means issues such as what will be co-governance CHECKS AND BALANCES and  ACCOUNTABILITY, water privatisation (by both National and Labour), road deterioration, the need for poverty, housing, homeless ness, the rapid militarisation of our space and FIVE Mission creep from intelligence gathering to promoting business and being the new morality police, barely get a mention in comparison.

The other case where entrenchment is ‘discussed’ in New Zealand politics was in the formation of the Bill of Rights Act which passed in 1990 (and defines Human rights under the 1954 NY Convention model) we ended up with is the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act, which is ultimately ordinary law, not particularly special in terms of the power it has over the law – so it’s not supreme law and it’s not entrenched. However the older New Zealand Bill of Rights 1688, has entrenchment clauses written is so as to stop parliament from empowering itself (see Fitzgerald vs Muldoon 1975)* as it has done so with the proven case of the 1986 Constitutional Act and the 2004 Supreme Court Act where the 75% rule was ignored.

Namely regarding the legal issues of defining human rights. The issue here is summed up during the abolishment of slavery, in the USA, when an opportunist politicians and corporate monopolist Roscoe Conkling manipulated the Fourteenth Amendment, adopted after the Civil War ( to protect the rights of freed slaves), stating the amendment which guarantees every “person” the “equal protection” of the laws should also apply to corporations. Conkling argued, using fake precedents, that the Rail corporation were persons too. He reasoned that just as the Constitution prohibited discrimination on the basis of racial identity, so must it bar discrimination against corporations on the basis of its corporate identity. The argument exploited the amendment of the act which gave African American slaves their human rights on the base of their identity instead of being identified as their prior status as mere chattels. No one checked Conkling precedents and thus corporations received the same rights as humans without any of the ACCOUNTABILIT. 

In a sane world where people acted and talked to each other as adults, we would jointly look to find ways in which existing rights aimed to protect the Trans community are not manipulated Conkling style by the introduction of new genders and identity laws not covered in the preexisting charters and treaties. We also need to establish limit and conditions which protected both body autonomy, the legal right of young and old, while recognizing the need for a certain age maturity and rigorous psychological profiling to prevent undoable injury and commercial exploitation.  

But we will probably just have a reactionary left right childish toxic bun fight instead as we argue over whether it was a good idea for Kiwi Banks to make a transgender Kiwi of the year. All the while no one, especially the corporate media, asked Kiwi bank how much money they had invested in Credit Suisse exactly.
